Choose a phone mount without blocking the drive
Measure the space, understand the attachment surface, and protect visibility before selecting a mount.
Start with the viewing zone, not the mount. The screen should be readable with a brief glance while leaving the windshield, mirrors, instruments, vents, and controls clear.
Match the attachment
Flat adhesive bases, vent clips, and handlebar clamps solve different problems. Check the surface material and available straight length, then confirm the accessory can be removed without damage.
Test before relying on it
Install on a clean dry surface, wait for any adhesive cure time, and test over an ordinary short route. Remove the mount if the device shifts or the position distracts you.
